All Weather Pitch Protocols
Welcome to the new all-weather playing facility at Wanderers F.C. To ensure the longevity and safety of the surface, we ask that all users, coaches, players, and spectators carefully follow the protocols below.
General Access & Footwear Guidelines
- Access restrictions: Only authorized personnel may enter the facility. Unauthorized access is not permitted.
- Permitted footwear: All individuals on the pitch must wear studded boots – either moulded rubber or metal studs are allowed, with a preference for moulded studs.
Footwear not permitted: Runners, flat footwear, and blade boots (made from hard plastic) are strictly prohibited, as they damage the synthetic grass. Worn or damaged studs are also forbidden for similar reasons.
Mandatory cleanliness: All footwear must be clean before entering the facility to preserve the quality of the surface.
Players, Coaches and Spectators
- Compliance with footwear requirements: Coaches and referees are responsible for ensuring all players wear the correct footwear. This rule applies to everyone, without exception.
- Jewellery & food prohibition: Players must remove all jewellery, and no food, including chewing gum, is permitted.
- Spectator guidelines: Parents and spectators should stay outside the pitch enclosure. An artificial concourse along the side of the pitch has been provided for viewing. Please do not enter the grass pitch area.
- Blue run-off zone: This area is a designated safety zone for players. Spectators are not allowed on it, and the same footwear guidelines apply.
Facility Maintenance & Cleanliness
- Litter-free environment: All users are expected to clean up after themselves. No rubbish, gear, water bottles, or other items should be left behind.
- No smoking policy: Smoking is not allowed within or around the facility.
By following these guidelines, we can ensure the facility remains in top condition and safe for all users. Thank you for your cooperation and support in maintaining Wanderers F.C.'s standards.
